Our 4 graders marked the 18th April - World Heritage Day.
They did a bit of a research into glagolitic script, the oldest known Slavic alphabet. It is generally agreed to have been created in the 9th century by Saint Cyril, a monk from Thessaloniki. The 4 graders studied the alphabet, drew letters, cut them out and actually wrote World Heritage Day (in Croatian) as may be seen on the pictures of their pinboard. Nice work little fellows!
